Oded Ezer "joins" great master Leonardo Da Vinci to create typo embryos
Following the Typosperma project, which aimed to create a new transgenic creature, half (human) sperm, half letter, Oded Ezer's latest work brings to life the 'CoPro' project - embryo's which embody the message of the organization they represent - in three different languages (English, Hebrew and Arabic).

The design, which is based on Leonardo Da Vinci's drawings and body of work dealing with embryos, is the expression of the birth of a new creation achieved through the act of mutual co-operation between peoples and cultures.

CoPro is a non profit organization, which aims to facilitate cooperation between Israeli documentary filmmakers and producers and commissioning editors from the world over, in order to generate a cultural dialogue and foster collaborated productions. The foundations name was itself integrated into the embryos in three different languages in order to emphasize the growth of CoPro over the past 11 years. "This is finally an icon with which to recognize CoPro" says Oded. Oded further expressed that it was important to try to fuse the right language with the right embryo as the letters themselves are written from different directions.

Oded's first monograph Oded Ezer: The Typographer's Guide to the Galaxy has been released by Gestalten this May.
